Color squares for the shower - Decorating Idea

Interior designer Tish Key made this small bath work for adults and kids by taking a fresh approach to the shower curtain. Large blue and yellow green squares of polyester fabric, which play off the room's dominant hues, are sewn together in a giant quilt block. The simple elegance of the rectilinear pattern makes the curtain resemble a window covering and draws the eye up to the ceiling, helping the small room feel spacious.
